Performance of common-use plastics

PE is a polyethylene plastic, chemical stability, usually the production of food bags and various containers, acid, alkali and salt water erosion resistance, but should not be wiped or soaked with strong alkaline detergent. 

PP is polypropylene plastic, non-toxic, tasteless, can be soaked in boiling water at 100 ° C without deformation, no damage, common acid, alkali organic solvents almost have no effect on it. Mostly used in food utensils. 

PS is polystyrene plastic, easy to color, good transparency, more used in the production of lampshades, toothbrush handles, toys, electrical parts. It is resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, but soluble in chloroform, dichloroethylene, banana water and other organic solvents. 

PVC is polyvinyl chloride plastic, bright color, corrosion resistance, strong and durable, due to the addition of plasticizers, anti-aging agents and other toxic auxiliary materials in the manufacturing process, so its products generally do not store food and drugs.
