PLA Specifications:
1. Glass Transition Temperature: Around 60-65°C. This is the temperature at which the material starts to soften and lose its shape.
2. Melting Temperature: 150-160°C. This is the temperature at which the material becomes liquid.
3. Density: 1.24 g/cm³. This determines the weight of the printed object.
4. Tensile Strength: 7,250 psi. This measures how much force the material can withstand before breaking.
5. Flexural Strength: 10,500 psi. This measures the material's ability to resist deformation under load.
6. Heat Deflection Temperature: 50-60°C at 0.45 MPa. This is the temperature at which a polymer deforms under a specified load.
7. Biodegradable: Yes. PLA is compostable under industrial composting conditions.
8. Print Temperature: 180-220°C. This is the suggested temperature range for 3D printing with PLA.
9. Bed Temperature: 20-60°C. This is the suggested temperature range for the print bed when 3D printing with PLA.
10. Shrinkage/Warping: Minimal. PLA tends to warp less than other materials, making it ideal for 3D printing.
11. Solubility: Insoluble in water. PLA will not dissolve in water, making it suitable for use in products that may be exposed to moisture.

PLA Advantage:
