Ⅲ.Reduce static electricity

Static electricity is another obstacle to maximizing PVC printouts. The static electricity in the sheet makesit difficult for the ink to stick to any substrate material, affecting the way the ink is sprayed on the paper.

The first step to avoid static problems is to buy products that remove static electricity during the 

manufacturing process.

Second, static electricity in the print shop can be controlled by monitoring humidity and using a 

humidifier on cold, dry days.

To further release static electricity in the sheet, use an ion deionization device built into the printer or 

purchased on the market. For additional protection, a string of wires can be hung to contact the sheet

before it is run under the printhead.

Keeping PVC frosted sheets clean and static-free are two simple ways to increase the efficiency of PVC printing, but ensuring that you can work with a manufacturer that provides a consistent product is key to maximizing quality and yield.
